Hey All!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm here in Portland, Oregon. We made it here in 4 days. I pushed our drive of 16 hours the first day to get us out of New England. I drove no less than 13 hours a day and now we're here.
The drive was beautiful, boring and scary at times.
I love it here and I wish I could stay, but my girl will be here next friday and then i'll be heading out to California.
I love the fact that the downtown life here is so active after hours and that I can wake up the next morning and go to the Rose Gardens and see Mt. Hood if I feel the need. So many places to shop for knick-knacks, music, books and so on.
Screw New England...I don't think i'm interested in ever going back. I have pretty much learned my way around as is in just a few short days. I'm looking forward to getting around here more before I go.
