It's hot here....Busy day for myself and Mikel. I'm hitting the salon today and I have decided to bleach out my hair and just have it trimmed. I thought about going back to bright red, but....I really looked stupid.
Mikel said "goodbye" to his mom. I hope he feels at ease about leaving her. I'm glad that I was able to take him to see her as often as possible this year. I know it was important to him.
Well, we figured now that our trip to Portland will probably take us 7 days, but i'm cool with that cause we can take more time to see things.
I am so thrilled that me and my girl have decided to step up and work through things...this has been the most difficult relationship to deal with ever. 1 year and we had only seen each other for 10 days, so we haven't seen each other for about 10 months, except for the cam on yahoo. This is the first for me where things have been based primarily on emotions and not just physical attraction. I love it, but i'll never do it again. It's too lonely being 3500 miles away from the person you want most in your life.
Anyway...I hope everyone is having a terrific day. I look forward to meeting some of you on the other side! 3 more days and we're off

working things out with your girl sounds like it is the best thing. i sometimes wish they would work out by themseves for me but i know trying really means so much
