Howdy to you too. I just moved back after being away for 10 years. A lot is the same, and a whole bunch is not the same. Those damn "loft" houses are everywhere and it bugs me. Oh, I'm in the Heights, what about you?
I feel like I woke up the eye of a hurricane today. Lightening and thunder all around with the threats of tornados. The dogs are going ape shit from the noise. Cars flooded out all over the place and now we're getting hit again with no end in sight til mid week.

I am now in Houston , Texas, back with the family from an ever trying journey of emotional strength. Mom looks so thin after 5 years and multiple operations. I cried when I saw her. Feels odd to be back here, but i'm slipping right back into what is really my home. I missed you all....It's good to be back

Rising early with the sun with anticipation of my girls arrival. One more night in Portland and then off to California for good. I can't wait to leave, don't get me wrong though, I love Portland, but my best friend and I are not getting along and I need to get out of here and so forth.
