Happy Thanksgiving Americanos
Ah! on Thanksgiving day, when from East and from West, From North and South, come the pilgrim and guest, When the gray-haired New Englander sees round his board The old broken links of affection restored, When the care-wearied man seeks his mother once more, And the worn matron smiles where the girl smiled before. What moistens the lips and what brightens the...

Woman with a somber gaze,
Tell me, what do you see in the candles?
are they ghosts in the night
or are they flowers of the earth?
What do you treasure on your lap
illuminated and transparent,
even in the air
your silhouette appears?
Twice as much the pain,
twice as much the loss,
the flowers have become rivers
and the fragrance cries out.

I hope you are doing well. I wish the economy was better or at least I had a job so that I can come up and visit. I won't know for a couple of months if Thailand will pan out.
The infinite scream echos on and on...
" I was walking along a path with two friends_the sun was setting_suddenly the sky turned blood red_I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence_there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city_my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety_and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature. Okay so I shouldn't have had Smarties but I did and the Smarties box told me this:
When you smile, your brain releases endorphins that make you feel happier.
That's it

It's not all black and white is it? But I find the gray area so damn scary...
"It is in our faults and failings, not in our virtues, that we touch each other, and find sympathy. . . . It is in our follies that we are one."

That was too deep for me to understand...I think it might be lack of sleep.
Yeah, no jobbie job yet...not even looking. I'm trying to get things in order in my apartment and getting myself into shape. So far, I've just been sleeping and going out, but I'm going to start tomorrow. I'm trying to lose at least 40 lbs. *sigh*
I hope you are doing well and I really want to get up there to visit again...
