happy birthday to me!
yesterday i saw decibully and owen and it was an incredible show.
stanley gave me my birthday presents early cuz he couldn't wait, which is awesome. its fun when people are really excited to give you gifts!!!
he gave me seinfield season 3, a hot rod circuit lp (sorry about tomorrow) and ... alkaline trio's for your lungs only 7"!! how great is that! i love out of print vinyl!
sometimes working at hospitals makes me really fucking pissed off. like when your paient is restrained at all four points and someone brings their lunch in and all of a sudden its like the whole hospial staff vanishes. so this guy is left restrained, to stare at his food. god only knows how long it was sitting there before i came in and saw him scooted all the way down to the end of the bed, hands behind his back sucking the chicken off a bone that he had reached by streching his neck to the bedside table. not to mention someone on midnights must have gotten really mad or something so he was restrained all wrong, like cutting off circulation to the point where his hand was swollen up double the size of the other one. that is fucking bullshit. who would do that to someone? god i can't even imagine someone strapping me down to the bed, i'd be a fucking lunatic too.
not only that but one of the nurses i was working with today walked off the job. in the middle of her shift. i don't blame her.
good thing i only have to go to class tomorrow cuz if i had to see that poor guy again i might just die.
my birthday will be fun, have some good eats with friends and some good hang out. i miss my friends, i've been MIA for the past two years due to nursing school and i'm ready for that to over with. two more weeks, i counting the seconds!!! i pick up my cap and gown tomorrow
