Had a good trip to NYC.
We got off the train and it was pissing rain. We didn't have very good directions from the bar's website. They would've been fine if it wasn't raining. We walked the wrong direction for a block, turned around, and basically made a b-line to the bar. Still took us a little while. Long enough that we were soaked. After giving sloppy wet hugs to vegemite and aka55, we took off our wet coats and enjoyed the party.
We met people in person that we knew online, and met some completely new people too. We played pool, darts, and skeeball. I did lousy at each and all. 
I ate some disco fries; they were good, but I prefer poutine. I think vegemite liked their b-day present. Aka55 liked everything and everyone. He had a little to drink. My ass and nipple still hurt a little. 
A good time was had by all. ps: Aka, you're much lighter than I thought you would be.
A couple of very nice people gave us a ride to Brankauti's childhood friend's place. The storm had knocked out her power. That was kinda fun, actually. Navigating six flights of stairs in the dark. It wasn't even on in the morning. Navigated six flights down in the dark.
Went into the city. Ate some Japanesse food I had never tried before. I wasn't a big fan. Drank some bubble tea. Mine was REALLY minty. Walked around for a while. Went through Chinatown. Bought a couple things. Time to come home.
On the ride home, we realized that we had met (in person) 39 SG members. And several non-SG members through those people. All those people in just the last year. Some we've gotten to know better than others. And there are still more that we'd like to meet.
We talked about having our Practice Thanksgiving soon. Sometime in October.
We also talked about setting a date. Brankauti wants May or June. I think that may be a bit soon. But we may just have it at our house.
Sleepy head just got up. Gonna go hang and eat breakfast.
