Has anyone else's alergies been going haywire?
As I said, I've been busy at work. We went over this Summer's schedule recently. Now, I'm not afraid of working lots of hours, but one of the few joys of my job is that I'm not supposed to work more than 40 hours a week. Well, this Summer most of my weeks are about 45 hours. Not bad. But the are a dozen weeks before October that currently have me scheduled for more than 60 hours. And three weeks over 100!
I'm building two picnic tables for the Billionth Second Party on the 20th. The idea is to have everyone sign one of them, and then varish it. I've done all the cuts and put two sets of legs together. So, I'm about 1/3 done. The final assembly has to be done outside. Too cold and rainy to do this weekend.
We had some sadness.
Three birds broke their necks on our windows in the past week. A chickadee, a red-winged blackbird, and a cowbird.
But, there's been a ton of birds at the feeders. Some rarer ones have been by too, including a red-bellied woodpecker. Right now outside there's a flock of boat-tailed grackles.
I've been thinking about getting my first tattoo.
'Bout time, right? I'm thinking about getting "Be Excellent to Each Other" on my ribcage under my left arm.
Bought a bunkbed. And Brankauti bought a HUGE desk. Neither has been delivered yet. :excited!:
