I can't believe some people.
Yesterday, one of my coworkers who's moving casually mentioned that he had to leave early so that he could take his cats to the vet to have them put down. !! !! He was having his cats killed because he didn't know what else to do them. <grrr> Now, mind you, he's known about this for some time. And he didn't even send out an email to his coworkers. Just, 'oop, gotta move. Time to kill my cats. tra-la-la' !! !!!
One of my other coworkers and I called a local no-kill shelter and took the cats there. Easy. Done. Some people just don't deserve pets.
