Man. Short weeks at work rock! Most of the days I did manage to drag myself to work, I took half-days. I wish I could work four hours a day normally. 
My Mom is coming down this weekend. I think that means a quiet New Years Eve. But you never can tell what my Mom will be up for. I've seen her down four large margaritas and smack a waiter on the ass.
What is everyone else doing?
I'm going to treat my Mom and Brankauti to waffles Sunday morning. I was inspired by Alton Brown.
So plans are forming in my head about the 1,000,000,000th sec party on May 20th. I downloaded a bunch of recipes for food for the event. Some vegan, some vegetarian, and some decidedly not either. I think it should be small enough to have at my house. Not sure about that yet. If it's at my house, most of the action will be outside. Food and drink in the afternoon followed by food and drink by the bonfire at night. I'm thinking that I don't want to have music. But I'll encourage musical friends to play some for us. Are there any SGs who would be willing to serve ice cream at some point during the party? I'd pay for services, and we'd put out a tip jar. Just a thought.

um, yeah, it's a burmese/asiatic cat thang, the walkies. my pa-in-law's cat is a big, choccy burmey, looks like marcelus wallace in pulp fiction. LOVES his 'walkies'. every day. LOL
