Just got back from early bird shopping.

What a madhouse.
I got what I wanted and got the hell out.
Got some good stuff though.
I can't imagine shopping today after 10am. I'm so sorry if you are working retail today. Unless, of course, you're working commission.
I found some stuff that I want. But that isn't the spirit of the season is it?

Okay, so if you've read my journal entry a couple back, you may understand why I'm a little peeved at my family. So I got a call from my Mom today wondering when I'm going to come up today. I said, um no. She asked if I could come up tomorrow or Sunday. I said, um no. She asked, "So, you're burning bridges, huh?"
I said, "No. I'm just pissed off. Not just about the other day. About other things too. And I have enough stress in my life. I don't feel like adding the stress of going up to Massachusetts. If you want to call that 'burning bridges', then fine."
I don't respond well to threats. Veiled as it was. And I will call on it every time. Bluff or not. This was a bluff.
Mom, "Well, we love you very much."
"I love you guys too. Bye."
