I The other day I began recording some bass, electric guitar, and vocals for some of my original songs. I bought two high hat symbols today but am still shopping for a high hat stand. Once I get the high hat stand I will begin recording drums for my songs. Once I have a few complete songs recorded I plan on relearning the trumpet and making some of my songs into ska songs which should sound neat for a difference. I plan on releasing my cd on youtube once I am complete it so that people can listen to my music for free as I would feel wrong charging people for music cuz music is not about the money. Althought I admit it would be fun to make a living creating music. I am looking to jam with some of my old band members but wouldn't mind jamming with some new people as long as they can play some of my songs. I would not want them to feel like a tool by me just telling them what to play. Some songs they can write their own parts for but for the songs I already have completely written, I would not want to change them at all except for the way I sing in some of them. I just find it easier for one person to write a complete song for their own song cuz it usually sounds better when one person writes all the instruments for their own song. it is awesome when I record something and believe it sounds like a masterpiece. The beauty about making music is that I can really appreciate my creations unlike when I draw a picture. I enjoy visual art as well but I am not very talented at drawing or colourong as I rarely practised it in the past. Talent comes with tons of practise. The more you practise something, the easier it becomes and also becomes more rewarding to see as a completed project. I would love to jam with or open up for some of my favourite bands before they retire as most of the music I listen to is older than me. No music compares to the quality of the underground punk oldies.
