Interesting day.
On the up side I got a kitchen table and a couch, each for five bucks at yard sales today.
On the down side, Smarty Jones lost the freaking triple crown and I wanted to cry. Like literally...in the last three seconds of the race.
Sometimes I get so frustrated.
President Regan died today. He was 93, and I come on SG, and of course, there's all this cheering and bashing of him. That makes me so sad because...well...he's dead. He can't stand up for himself. You know what I mean? I just think it's bad form to speak in a negative way about someone that's passed on. Especially someone who didn't even remember most of ...well...anything.
Nobody respects anything anymore. Nobody respects anybody...young people don't give a shit about old people, people just don't care about eachother. We've become such a selfish society.
It's not even about republican/democrat or good person/bad person. It's about respect. Nobody has it anymore and it really bothers me.
