Okay- a little update. Sorta.
So, today was the last night of work until after the 1st of the year. I'm so fucking relieved. That place is stressing me out. Let me try to explain without taking six years. I've been working at hotel/resort in northern Indiana for about a year and three months or so.I love it. However, in the last six months, upper 'managment' has fired our: Accountant, Front Desk Manager, Restatraunt Manager, Banquet Captain, General Manager, and Human Resources Manager. With no apparent goal in mind, they have split the GM role into two, and now have one man over banquets, the kitchen staff, and the restaraunt staff. There is nobody over maintenance, housekeeping, and the front desk. The Maintenance manager is widely known for being incredibly stupid and the housekeepers are known for hiring family members who do very little and get away with it, which is fucking frustrating as hell. ANYWAYS. They fired MY boss, and replaced him with the lesbian lover of the married sales manager and now everything is incredibly fucking unorganized. Nobody can get any straight answers and nobody knows wtf is going on with big events that we hold, like Passion Play and our Valentines Day packages.
To give you an example. We have a big musical-theatre Passion Play that we put on during easter. We also have a christmas play done by the same people. You would think that at christmas time we would have the easter play's information available for people who found out about the easter play while watching the christmas play. But no. We don't.
And it makes the FD staff look fucking incompetent.
Okay, I'm going to stop ranting because I'm really not sure any of this makes any sense and my grammar probably sucks.
