So I'm such rockstar.

smile

I've been very puke puke lately, you know and I was wondering if I should even go to this company christmas dinner. I was like...if I go I will feel like surreal and whatever all evening long. So then, I thought...but I paid money and if I don't go, they get to keep my ten bucks. If I DO go, I get my ten bucks back.

So I put on a dress and went.

Boy, let me tell you. GOOD IDEA.

After dinner, which was okay, except I was so puke and surreal that I couldn't hardly taste anything, they had door prizes.

Well I wasn't overly interested because when you think door prizes you think "everythings a dollar" crap you wouldn't use very often, but I was reminded of the first all-associate meeting I went to the week I started at Oakwood when I won a 10" TV.

So I was feeling whatever confused puke and surreal when they started handing out the door prizes. And when my name was called I was confused because I had no idea what I had won because I hadn't been paying attention.

Well imagine my suprise when I opened it and it ended up being an overnight stay at this really pretty hotel for 2 people and dinner for 2 at this very amish restauraunt. So then I was very biggrin and smile and love love at everyone, even though I still felt slightly puke and surreal.

So then, they put all the names back in the hat and they had four more gifts to give away. Loretta, the boss-lady, said "Now remember, bigger doesn't always mean better." And imagine my shocked surreal eeek when my name was called. I of course (because I Know bigger really -is- better) chose the largest, and guess what I won? A 25" Color TV.

They gave out awesome gifts. Like, a 19" TV, a DVD/VCR combo, A 5 Disc CD changer, All sorts of overnight stays at various hotels, dinners, boat rentals, tanning packages, etc.

Anyways, by the end of the night, though I still felt slightly puke and surreal , my night definately ended up being a lot more biggrin that I had thought.

I'm still sick but I love love my job quite a lot when they give me free stuff.
