I'm about to watch The Plague on the history channel and do some homework, but I wanted to shout out to my new friends and I hope everyone has a lovely weekend! I had a lovely day today. I slept in, then when I got up, I made CUPCAKES!
The chocolate ones are double German chocolate with milk chocolate frosting and toasted pecans, the others are Vanilla-Lemon, with lemon custard filling and lemon cream cheese frosting.
I made them for the monthly Friday night scrap, which is so much fun if any of you scrapbook. I brought a friend who had never scrapped who is pregnant and we had a great time, and she made a little pregnancy journal which ended up being so cute, and I worked on my travel journal.
After that, I went over to another friends house to play cards, and we played a new game that isn't actually a card game called Apples to Apples, which was pretty fun, though I prefer Euchre or Oh Shit or something, though any game is fun. I'm a bit over for the whole bar scene, I have no patience for stupid drunks these days. I'd rather have some close friends, good tunes, and cards or a board game or something.
In any case, I've got a ton of homework, so I'm going to make some food and then watch the history channel while I attempt to put this paper together. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Yeah, I got over goin' out and gettin' stupid years ago. Just hangin' out and chillin' with friends is a lot more appealing than spending your night around of drunken douche bags.
