I got to chill last night with the ex turmoil guys on the way up to the poccanos.. there new band is the kiss of death you can check them out at thekissofdeath.net. Heres the breakdown. One bands full equipment (about 5 cases one drum set and 4 guitars), 3 foldy chairs and 7 guys packed into one baby blue chevy van. Once we were in the town of good ol wilks barre we were rockin it with some iron monkey (HEAVY AS HELL) when Gula the vocalist jumps across the van and starts a mosh pit in an area about 5x4' right so after a little jumping around the driver going over RR tracks and everyone and equipment being airborne the sliding door comes open Bottles and trash are flyin out people are scrambling for something to grab hold of like we are in a pressurized plane THE DOOR IS OPEN!! is being yelled over immense laughter... aahh what a start. Unload the gear into the venue and its off to the dive of a strip club 2 doors down for some drinks. Everyone grabs drinks at $5 a beer!! When the bartender who I'm told would be hotter than any of the girls in the place lets us all know that non of the gals came in for the shift. No skin off my back I could give a shit about them, and we are gone. We hang out, they play, I do my job work the table a bit watch BONGZILLA !!! and we pack up and go home. All in all a good night nothing overly exciting but just good times with good people today I decided I'm not gonna leave the house till later, it looks cold and I got lots of work to do anyway. Tomorrow its back to the grind.
