defective

I'm having to learn how to be independently social all over again (does that makes sense?). This is tough when you've spent the last year and a half in a new city working most the time and spending the rest with one other person. Even worse I'm probably here for 2 more months or so and then on to somewhere else. Who wants to make temporary friends ha ha? Fortunately I have a friends in neighboring cities I've been reaching out to. A Vegas trip last weekend was a good distraction. Spent last night in North Hollywood for a birthday. It's true what they say, every person there was somehow connected to the film industry, lots of "actors" and "screenwriters".

Super bowl this weekend? Meh, football has never been my thing, and a repeat of the same teams in such a short time span makes it even less interesting to me. At least I've got some good people to spend it with.

Lonely in this huge house, adjusting to the single life takes a lot of time, but I'm getting there. One day at a time I guess right?
