OH MY GOD!
It has finally arrived: LAUNCH DAY!
So for anyone who doesnt know (and may actually care, but im still convinced im writing this blog to myself, heh) today is the first day in a long time that I have a new video game going live to the public. Its Atlantic City Blackjack that I made on the framework ive been building for the last two years and im fucking excited to say the least! This represents the first in a long line of games being developed on my system, its my first game with this company (I already have about 35 games in production for my last job at Webkinz with millions of kids playing the games) and its going to be big! I will post the link to the specific licensee that is getting the game first but tonight Im definitely going to be celebrating!!

Ok enough nerdyness for the moment.
Ive been slowly preparing to send a year end email to my family and friends summarizing this year because its been a crazy one for me, perhaps one of the craziest! Heres the quick list of highlights so far
- Almost died twice this year, once in explosion, once by choking on a stupid dinner roll
- Released a new game that I have been developing for almost 2 years
- Did another successful TO Jam, 72 hour of straight coding / game development goodness which yielded our game: Der Baron Von Ubercheesen's Cheese Factory. Lol.
- Sold the concept of Der Baron Von Ubercheesen's Cheese Factory, now we just need to finish it
- My home exploded and I was homeless for over 40 days
- Ive worked more than 300 hours of overtime this year
- I went to Kelowna, British Columbia in the summer and Kiev, Ukraine in the winter!
So yeah, bad ass and crazy year.
