20 years ago i loathed you, always ratted you out to mom and dad,
then 13 years later, you became the best friend i ever had,

I watched you grow into a hollow man, scared of everything unknown,
I saw you speeding your head off, Hoping to feel less alone,

I pinned you against the shed, with my fist held back towards your face,
another time you destroyed our family, another time you werent put in your place,

I loved you when you fucked up, I loved you when you were down,
I loved you when i hated you when you were never around,

All the pictures from the concerts, all the skills you taught me how,
All the late night talks , cries and hugs, and i just cant help you now.

You were always my hero, i looked up to you to guide,
you swore you'd always have my back, and you'd always be by my side,

I wished i would have hugged you harder, the last time i saw you at the lake,
the news i recieved on the phone today is almost too much to take.

You dont realize what you've done once again, you refuse to to see this pain,
You don't understand you needed help, you still dont see that ur hardly sane.

You will never know what youve done to me, and how hard it is to say goodbye,
youve done all this to yourself and i just cant bare 2 watch u slowly die.
