I found out that my professor is in Brooklyn right now, which is awesome, but I'm afraid that she might want to meet or something, which would be scary- sort of. I know that I have to call, though. That's what accepting feedback is all about, plus I am grateful for all of her help.

I went to the coffee-shop. I started accidentally blaring the DEEEEETROIT COBRAAAAAAASS!. The headphones weren't plugged in all of the way- THAT was funny!

I did laundry, found cheap tahini, bought carrots, and came home to my roommate, who said that she just wanted to be alone...

So I asked her what was up and she said she didn't want to talk about it. Like I EVER listen to that. Instead, I ask if it's alright if I make some tea with her. Then she offers me food! Then she tells me what's going on So things are going better. I just listened the whole night to whatever she wanted to talk about.

That went well, but it did take a large chunk out of my reading time. Elena is lonely and sad, because she misses her daughter. I'm no substitute, I know, but at least I can try to be more understanding and more positive around her.



I love my profile picture, mainly because I look like a hard-ass.
