Ok, everybody, here we go:

I played all day, yesterday. biggrin I had a great time. I played pool, video-games, my acoustic guitar, but the best part of the day had to have been playing music with Pat and Joe, two very good friends of mine. Joe played drums, I played guitar, and Pat played bass guitar.
I can't explain the experience, but I'll take a stab at it. Joe is a consistent drummer, who reads and plays well. Reading each other, that is. Pat likes noise, so it's creatively effective for me to follow him, even though he doesn't always like it and quickly changes everything up. I try to bring hings together, and shift it into third gear, which is a lot of fun.
It's kind of like doing small-city traffic with stop signs and traffic lights, and then your windows are down, speeding on the freeways. It's just fucking healthy! Anyhow, that was great.
I went to a Boys home meeting, where Patrick had to deal with proper hygiene criticisms. It was wierd, because Pat hadn't listened to the boss about shaving etc. for a looooong time, and then it was brought up in the group meeting. Most of the male workers(except the boss and the religious guy) have long hair, so I think we kind of instinctively freaked, but we agreed that the boys need consistency, and at can change it, but just not as drastically as he had before.
Sometimes he looks like a pirate, others a trucker, others, a pedophile, others, well you get the picture. His consistency lies in change, which is great, but the boys are all told that they have to shave, and it's ucoolto let him get away with enforcing the rules without adhering to them. At least, that's the group's consensus.
I put up a stoopid posting in the SG board, so if you're looing for an ass, look no further. eeek
My heart's not into writing much more. I'll be back later. frown

that boy,

Ian
