Last week my friends and I swore up and down to each other that we were going to refrain from drinking at school this semester.

Let's just say that we didn't even make it through the first day. We spent most of the first day of school at Sensational Subs, and then moved to Sidebar. But hey, at least I, unlike my buddy Nate, made it to all of my classes and, unlike my buddy Luke, didn't start drinking until after my classes were over. And, on the bright side, I met some cool new people on Monday.

My classes are pretty good over all, but, since I'm finishing some core classes that I didn't know I had to take this semester, I feel like a senior citizen in most of my classes. For instance, yesterday in psychology the professor asked all of the students in each year to raise their hands. My friend Kyle and I were the only two out of a lecture hall of about 150 to raise our hands when she asked for seniors. Yipes.

Anyway, if anyone goes to State and wants to meet me and my obnoxious friends, we're always next to the tree in the courtyard making a nuisance of ourselves.

Oh, and my friends The Landmines are playing a house show on Thursday. If anyone feels like drinking beer and listening to punk rock, feel free.
