So last night we got a "Final Warning!" type notice about noise complaints. Looks like I'm going to be moving soon. The lamest part is that we aren't even sure what the fuck we are doing that's so damn loud.

Before we got this apartment, my roommates and I lived in this complex for a combined 18 months without a single problem. We even threw a huge party in this apartment, and went for the first four months without an issue. The first complaint we recieved was about my birthday party back in November, which is understandable. Since then we have ceased having people over at all, and made a concious effort to not be loud at night. And yet we are still getting these vague, nebulous noise complaints without source and that don't even state what the issue was.

My opinion is that this is complete bullshit, and that our current neighbors are just assholes. We were a lot crazier in the old places and we never recieved a single complaint. And some of ya'll were in attendence at parties we threw at those apartments, so you know.

Blah. I'm pretty pissed about this. But, at the same time, it means that we can move the fuck out of this crappy complex sooner rather than later and get a house. Even better, I plan on having a few choice words with each of my neighbors, each of whom, apparenty, is so passive aggressive and chickenshit that he or she won't even come forward as the person who is registering these complaints.
