Last night was the SGATLiens Holiday Party at Sue,boychucker, andspagetti's house in Cabbagetown. I suppose nothing too spectacular happened, at least not that I recall, but it was a really fun party, and it was cool to meet a bunch of new people. Even more cool was the fact that I got to converse with several people I'd met before and actually remember doing so. I finally got to meet Sue, whom I've been attempting to meet up with for some time. And since I actually remember talking to marlowe this time, I can in fact say that she is one rad chick; especially now that I know the inspiration behind her name. Oh, and I solved the mystery of who brought the Black Seal on my birthday; it was Team Jamanda.

The only bad thing about the evening was that you damn bastards (and by you, I mean Marlowe, Llona, and Boychucker) suckered me into a series of conversations that kept me out until 5am. I had to work today, dammit!

Oh, and there was one hell of a food spread present; I decided that I desperately need friends who will bring several piles of awesome munchies to parties.

Sue totally beat Vladdic in an armwrestling contest. That was funny.

Sue also has one intimidatingly huge collection of books. I am incredibly envious. I can honestly say that I had no idea what the fuck he was talking about when he described his thesis, and that's awesome.

And, as usual, I felt the need to out-nerd a roomful of people by showing off the tattoo. Ah yeah.
