A call I recieved at work today:
"Dave! I just bought a case of Busch and a case of Southpaw for the Left! Get the fuck over here and drink the election away!"
So, who has a guess as to what I did after work? Luke put way too much thought into the concept and bought Busch for Bush (since it sucks) and Southpaw (read: left) for Kerry. The rest of the evening was spent int he shadow of this decision. The best was when we saw that Fox had Bush ahead 210 to 144 and CNN had him ahead 197 to 188 at the same time. Go, partisan skewing!
Oh, and then we got real blasted because of the results and vandalized the neighborhood like good punk rockers.
As of this point, the race is very close. I can only hope that America sidestepped idiocy for once and voted for the man that won't continue rewind the social clock. Lord knows I'm disappointed in my home state. Fuck you, Georgia, and your recent conservative bent. I honestly thought you knew better. Fuckers.
