I went and saw Northstar and Moneen last night. It was fun; both bands have great live shows, but I was a little bored because, aside from Saves The Day, I don't listen to emo anymore. Actually, we only went because Laura is friends with Northstar. Turns out I met their tour manager a few months ago, but at the time I didn't realize that he was the manager for Northstar. Ah well.
We were going to go out drinking with Northstar after the show, but they ended up going to a 21+ bar so Munchkin and I couldn't go. We all ended up chilling at Laura's place, listening to Zeppelin, and having one of those conversations about the future that seems real important when you are drunk. Good times.
I'm going to jam with my friend Tak pretty soon. He's one of the best drummers I've ever heard, and hands downt he best that I know. Hopefully this will have awesome results.
My sister graduates from high school tomorrow. Crazy.
