Perdido Street Station by China Mieveille is the best written scifi book I've read in ages. It definitely blows American Gods out of the water. I advise everyone to check it out.

I am currently reading Wordsworth and Coleridge in Brit Lit. Fun fun fun.

Oh yeah, this is for the benefit of MCnaptime, and i imagine that no one else will get it.

So one of the DJs at a local radio station lives near Georgia Tech. Tech made it to the championship round of the NCAA tournament this year, a suprise to everyone. Anyway, while the final four games were going on, the DJ said that he could hear this massive ruckus building up on Tech campus, like a crowd about to erupt. All Tech Police officers and even some APD officers were ready in case there was a riot. The DJ said that he went outside with his tape recorder and taped all the noise coming from Tech campus. And this is what it sounded like:

*typity typity typity type type type"

Bwahahaha! It's funny because it's true.
