well, i have successfully returned from my exciting valentines weekend in savannah.
somehow i made it through all sorts of obstacles like rain+bad windshield wipers, getting lost, unexpectedly having to pay for the hotel in cash and so not having any money, grabbing my dad's suit instead of mine, having the restaraunt we were going to go to be booked, AND having to hang out with a rahter unsavory person for a while today, all to have a really good weekend.
i brought a friend down with me so i'd have someone to hang out with (and she was going to hang out with the aforementioned unsavory person while i visited my grandmother). she just went through a bad breakup so i sprung as much of a romantic valentines day on her as i could. we dressed up and went out foor seafood, and i had flowers and chocolate covered strawberries and wine set up (with my super sneaky ninja skills) for when we got back. so we ended up drinking wine and cheersing to being alone on valentines and shooting the shit and dancing around to coltrane and "the love below." all in all i had a good time, and it was a really good valentines.
