I VERY RARELY post more then one a week now... but I wanted to geek out for a minute...

How is everyone doing? I am great for a change... I'm reading an excellent book called If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor by Mr. Ash himself.... BRUCE CAMPBELL
WHAT AN AMAZING BOOK IT IS!!! I have a new respect for him. I also missed class to see him at Barnes and Noble in Union Square here in NYC. THE MAN IS GOD!!!! i mean he takes sarcasm to a new artform.... When I grow up i wanna be HIM!!!!
I went to a movie last night. Called Godzilla Final Wars, the very last Godzilla movie ever
at the Film Archives.
1) why are these places soooo remote in nyc for a jerseyan.
2) why does the train only run once an hour after 10.
3) why are the weird ones on the E train at 11:30 at night
4) I need sleep
5) very gloomy...
Okay, I was rambling...
Anyway, Saw it to a sold out show last night and wow...we fanboys are something....we stand online and wait and wait and sit in bad seats and wait. They had some contests and sure enough...always someone who knows more then me.... but representatives from TOHO were there and the movie started...
SOOOO MUCH APPLAUSE and Admiration. THIS WAS IT!!! the last Gojira I saw was godzilla 2000.
ANyway, the movie is a combination of V: The Series, alot of Matrix references( its something to see Japanese effects Matrix Style) and GOOD OLE FASHION MONSTER MAYHEM!!!! FRIGGIN LOVED IT!!!
Gojira kicked ass and blasted his way through. I wish some of the monster fights were longer but I mean It was cool seeing him battle the "American Godzilla" and decimate him. Rodan destroyed NYC. I LOVEED IT. To me it was good ole fashion cheese but a good ending... I really LOVED IT. Just wish i could have shared it with someone That's just me being wistful again
