HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I hope everyone had a great NYE and did something crazy or whatever you set out to do.
I went to dinner and saw Ocean's 12 which wasnt that good. I've done the movie on NYE a few times. Its funny no new movies came out and the theater i went to was pretty empty. There was a time for years where I insisted that I MUST DO SOMETHING ON NYE. ANYONE who's ANYONE IS OUT THERE HAVING A GREAT TIME. Maybe even have a nice smooch at midnight. Thank god I got out of that logic. I'm completely comfortable with staying home. Hell, I had enough things to watch with South Park alone to keep me going.
As I look back on the year that was, I ponder my existence on this earth. Alot of things happened within a years time. Good and bad...leaning toward downright awful but I stayed sane(well sane enough considering) and got through and in '05 i got an outlet now. Writing has also helped alot. I wonder what is my path though, what am I destined for or is there even a destiny. Am i just living a pipe dream of trying to be a filmmaker or writer or am i really going to do it. Am I destined to be alone or will I meet someone. IN truth I believe the alone part more and more everyday. Not trying to sound all emo just mentioning what I believe. I do know for certain, I am not getting any younger and I need to start kicking this destiny of mine in the butt to get onto the right track again. Hopefully I'll have a few shorts down this year and some screenplays and the GRAND NOVEL
at least finished.
As far as new year's resolutions I'm not having any new ones, I have too many to finish up from last year so I think I'll just bring those over.
Met some great people here.. But over all had a great time here. Also because of SG, i'm coming out of my shell more and more. Hell I got toasted for the first time in my life from an SG event. Saw a great burlesque show. Made friends with people on and offline. SG is responsible for me writing more and more and even posting to my journal.
To the one who always said I was a great writer and is always telling me to post in her group I thank you. You know i'm not a big talker but Its appreciated and I will definately post this weekend.
To my animator buddy, your stories are fun and thanks for the posters and possible other opportunities.
To my fave Gamer Woman, glad your back and I hope to see you in '05.
