This Journal Update brought to you by the letters N and J.....
Hello folks... I hope everyone is doing well...
To all those who graduated.... Congrats.... To all those who finished their semesters Good work....
let's see my last real journal entry was on May 6th. After my cat past away. Wow...the only one i made for may......
Alot to catch up on.... So sit down and prepare to read.
Like I've mentioned my Cat died. I think I'm finally done mourning her. I still miss her but I'm much better.
I went to the Wizard Con Comic Book Convention in May. Alot of people were there. I saw Eliza Dushku(Faith from Buffy and Tru Calling).... Boy is she hot in person mmmmmm yeah
Also Met ARIA GIOVANNI
BOOOYYYY IS SHE HOT IN PERSON.
Didnt do much for memorial day. Had some interviews for jobs. One was at a school, another a company and another was MARVEL...thats right Marvel the house Spiderman built actually Fantastic Four built the house...but thats neither here nor there.
May 25th, came by with a special day.... 27 years ago a little film called STAR WARS opened. It opened small even as an independent film but soon broke records and kicked ass. We also celebrated George Lucas' birthday in may. The role model of many an animator or Writer....
In may I also went to see Godzilla the original Japanese cut of the film. Which was way better then the American Raymond Burr version. I really Enjoyed it. I also
went to see BAAADASSS a film by Mario Van Peebles detailing his father Melvin's making of SWEET SWEETBACK's BAAADASSS SONG a classic Blaxploitation film. That was pretty good too.
June has come and gone and I havent really done anything on my to do list or anything creative.... That has changed though, starting to do my outline for my novel and maybe do something else.
I went to Texas for the first time the first weekend in June for a friend's wedding. BOY IS TEXAS HOT.... But to begin with, I almost missed my flight so i had to run to the terminal...left my book at the counter. Its funny seeing someone with luggage ducking and dodging slow moving people. made the flight and got on. a cutie was sitting in my seat but i saw the big rock on her finger so i just let it be. I did some writing on the plane and read.
The wedding was nice. Met alot of my IRC friends there. I ate too much. All that texas bbq can be rough on ur stomach. Saturday after the wedding I went to the Book depository in Dallas. Went and saw were JFK was shot. I must admit...very interesting. And I stood on the X in the street where Kennedy received the first shot. Then onto the Grassy Knoll. All and All very eerie.... BUT WAY COOL
Hunted down the book I lost and bought it again. Then read it on the plane. 4 hours of non-stop reading was way good.
My friend got laid off on June 15th. She's handling it very well. She isnt in a rush to go back to work actually. She rather take the summer off and be home and free. We've been spending time together during the day, her logic is she doesnt have to be at work so just leave. I love being with her.... *sigh* I wish she returned the affection. :frown:
I like the velvet revolver song Slither...
OH B4 I FORGET....WENT TO MY FIRST SG BURLESQUE SHOW....OH MY GOD!!! THAT WAS AN EXCELLENT SHOW....
I'm in love with Nixon, Stormy, Pearl, Sicily...HELL ALL OF THEM. And the music they used was great. I love the Marilyn Manson song User Friendly. Play it all the time now....30 times in one day. MMMMM NAKED SG *drools*....
