I'll spoil it, i get kinda philosophical sense I have been thinking about the whole concept....
So yeah....That's my thoughts on friendship....I dont know who will read it but....i'm curious to hear people's thoughts...everyone even the one's who read the journal but dont want to comment. Perhaps, I am an evil person and dont really care about anyone...Perhaps...I have no redeeming quality and I am a vindinctive sob.
Sooo We're in march. Spring is around the corner, Easter will be here soon. I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show Last night with quite a few people up in Bergenfield NJ. Let's see Mydogfarted was there, Sharonaaa was there, Khoos was there, Seantastic was there.... Its a fun show I must say, I really got a kick out of
janet(sooooo hot, soooo curvy) I also started taking some Photoshop Tutorial classes. I love that program. Being able to manipulate imagery...awesome.
I re-read V by AC Crispin. V was a miniseries back in 1983 about Aliens coming to Earth as friends but quickly turning the planet to a Fascist state. Lizards under human skin....Ewww....
John, Do we Have a clip?
V: The Final Battle
V: The Series
...I loved V so much as a child, I mean really loved it. I watched it with my grandmom and then the final battle and then the series friday nights....I was 9 and 10 when it came on....
As with most things, people wanted to know what happened? Since the original Creator Kenneth Johnson left during the Final Battle Miniseries he had different ideas of what went down(no starchild or pretenama) So he wrote a another Book: V: The Second Generation it takes place 20yrs later(our current time). No Terrorism....No 9/11....No more water pretty much. Total Human Subjugation until the Resistance make's a last ditch effort to save humanity....Not bad, slow in parts and the ending, well it seemed partly far fetched and rushed...But I liked it. I would love to see them make this into a miniseries....
WHERE DO THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE SIT?
The following is a profound statement from Essence Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Susan L. Taylor, from her book "In the Spirit".
"Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. Evaluate your relationships. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships.
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention. Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know, or appreciate you?
The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you...the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
With that said, I happened onto your journal because I was thinking of you about an hour ago. I went to BW-3 to pick up some wings and they fucked my order up so I have to wait 7 minutes. WELL, much to my delight I noticed a FULL SIZED 20TH Anniversary arcade machine in the corner from the 1981 Ms. Pac Man and Galaga releases. Needless to say, even though I haven't played Galaga in over a decade and I'm old now, I still busted the FUCK outta the measly high score that was on there of only 163,000. I'm still rusty but I did bust out a 230K game. Note, it's .50 now to play..bastards.
