rent in portland isn't really that outrageous. $895 for a two bedroom with heat and hot water included, we have a dishwasher, coin-op laundry, pets allowed, great area, young neighbors so they're cool. not to mention it's in PORTLAND and portland is sexy as all hell. i actually don't think i've ever talked about Portland with anyone who hasn't said "portland is a great city" (waits for them to come out of the woodwork)
