I don't know if any of y'all remember me mentioning that I had an article coming out in the Jim Goad edited Exotic Magazine this month? As I open my personal e-mail account I see a letter from Jimmy titled "Congratulations...", I can't hold back to read the good news.
"...on having the first article censored by upper management during the Exotic
Goad Reich.
It was all laid out...the cover was even printed with "Waiting for God" listed
on it among other features, and the cover will remain that way...I think it is
still listed in the table of contents, too...and at the last minute, when I
wasn't here, the publisher and business manager finally read your article and
freaked out. They yanked it and apparently replaced it with an ad.
Frank (the publisher) says you're a good writer, but the subject of chomo-ism is
something that would cause him too much grief with advertisers. He says he's
still willing to pay you.
So that's where it stands. I'm pissed at them for going behind my back."
If any of y'all want to read the article paypal me 5.00 and your address and I will send you a signed copy.

The album is terrific. I purchased it about a week ago off Amazon and it hasnt left my cd player yet! The retro vibe pays tribute to classic R&B but it sounds fresh. The songs are a good mix of flirty and fun. If you liked Cee Lo's ''The Lady Killer'' then you'll love it. It would make a good addition to most collections though. Its unique blend of styles and Chantal's vocals make "The one, the only...'' an album I recommend checking out.

I just came across this article. I love her solo album. It was a shocker at first to hear her in such a sexy soulful way from the morningwood sound. I love it alot. And it gets major rotation with my smashing pumpkins and polica!!!
