you can do serious damage to yourself trying to look deep inside an ex- to find that one bit of redeeming good in them so you feel like ALL of your love doesn't have to turn into hate, but all its gonna do is tear apart your soul from the inside. its so hard to let people go, to turn your emotions for certain people off like a faucet, to let betrayal fall off like drops on a raincoat...
