i have the best story ever. let the record show that i live in a huge house with five cats. this will facilitate the story somehow.
ok so, here's somethin gross:
so saturday, slo comes over and it was wicked hot, so i turn the big fan on. after about half an hour, it starts making a clicking noise. so after a while, i turn it off and slo and i go to sleep. the next morning, the fan still makes the sound so i check to see what the deal is....and there's a dead, splayed mouse glued to the bottom of the fan with its own blood.
here's what i think happened: bailey, one of the kitties, was in my room on friday. usually, he runs out right away when i walk in, but this time he hesitated a bit before running off. so i think that he was hunting the mouse and injured it enough that it ran into the fan for safety. then, i turned the fan on, further injuring and mutilating the poor thing.
so i am right now mustering up the courage to scrape it off the fan and give it a decent buddhist burial. the sun's about to set, so the time is almost perfect, all the hornets and yellowjackets outside are getting dormant.
so yeah, there's your dose of grossness for today. wish me luck.
