I probably shouldn't be getting so excited this early on...but I am. On a lark the other day I decided to look on Craig's list for a job, and found an opening in Washington D.C. for a vet tech position...with relocation and 3 months living expenses provided. And I said to mayself "hmmm...I should revamp my resume and send it in for shits and giggles." You know, just to see. So last night I spent about an hour half assing my resume and cover letter. This morning I faxed it to D.C. Not 30 minutes after they received the fax I recieved a voicemail...stating they were interested and that my res looked awesome. I'm thrilled, and nervous, and thrilled...beyond belief.

I want this job so badly that I almost found myself praying to a higher power...and I haven't believed in anything in over 12 years. Yes, that bad. I'm supposed to teleconference tomorrow morning with the HR director and office manager. I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight. Not only does it pay almost twice what I was making, but it has immediate health and dental benefits, and I'd get to move back to my hometown again. WOOHOO
