I'm back in Austin. Sometimes it's nice to be home, though I can't say I'm entirely thrilled to be back. It has been such a weird week.

Yesterday was hear from your ex day, and I heard from 4 of them. To be quite honest, it was bizarre at best. I didn't answer the phone for 2, because I figure those bridges had been burned for a reason. I did however talk to D, who I used to work with, and that was actually quite nice to catch up on his life and job and girl happenings out in Cali. Prior to that I heard from my ex-husband, who had just called to let me know that his relationship status with his current gal was being changed to "open" as of this Friday, so he'd have more time to hang out and such. What an odd call. And odder still that they set a date for the status to change. That conversation left me amused and befuddled.

So I'm back and broke. I need a job. A job that pays well, haha. I think those are all taken unfortunately. Tomorrow should be a ballbuster, as the hunt for employment continues.

While in Houston I decided to head down to Galveston and see what if anything had changed in the past 10 years. It appears to be the same town it used to be. I played in the water for a couple of hours, took some bad pictures, and collected some stinky sea shells.

Today was spent vomiting and nauseated because I was a lush the previous night. Woohoo beer. That's precisely why I drank so much beer, I never had gotten ill from it before. Now I know better, and will stick with the hard stuff and make my vomiting count eeek
