So, it appears that I am not the only one leaving town for the summer. Seems everyone and their brother is off to some foreign destination for vaca. My good friend Andrew called last night to say he was outtie first thing this afternoon, so we just had coffee. I sure will miss that fool. Now who's going to address me as "Bitch" on a routine basis? Ballsy cockknocker. I am taking applications for this position, but you must have a resume with valid references (at least 3). And, he was super generous and slipped $200 into my purse for my Florida fund. Jesus, when I get to feeling a little down, I'm suddenly stricken by how many caring people surround me and look after my goofy, irresponsible ass. So, I'm feeling quite lucky on many levels. Was able to make a good friend laugh last night, which makes me smile, even if he was laughing at me rather than with me. Give me one beer and damn, I'm a walking idiot...now give me a bottle of gin, and somehow I remain coherent...go figure. I could ramble on and on about my boring little life in my usual fashion, but the words just wont come to me as they usually do. Perhaps the lack of Adderall has something to do with that. Got an update on my ol man. Still on a respirator 13 days later, still in ICU, still being denied transfer to a more equipped facility due to having no insurance. Fuck managed care. They have now injected his lungs with Botox to paralyze the nerves and calm the bronchospasms that are sending him into "bouts" yes bouts of cardiac arrest. People are allowed to visit him, but cannot talk to him because apparently everytime someone does talk to him his blood pressure goes through the roof. So, were all just crossing our fingers and hoping like hell he can make it through. In other news, more important news to some, the house judiciary committee is fucking the people and the democrats again. The latest fubarr would be interrupting sentencing and adjourning without voting on the decision to adjourn. Fuck the republicans and their devious ways. Me, I'm bout ready to head to Denmark.
