Ok, so I am a pussy. Someone once said people will only treat you as badly as you let them. In my case, I must be a masochistic son of a biscuit, because DAMN, I'm fucked. Here's the work schedule for the following few days:
Thursday 11:30pm - 8am Friday
Friday 3:30pm - 8am Saturday
Saturday 2pm - 8pm, then 11:30pm until 8am Sunday
Sunday 12noon - 8am Monday
Monday 11:30pm - 8am Tuesday
Tuesday 11:30pm - 8am Wednesday.
Now if that isn't fucked, I don't know what is. Well, how'd all this come about you ask? The co-worker, the one I had been sleeping with up until about 2 months ago when I dumped his ass (for being a clingy jealous bastard), knocked a girl up (while we were still seeing each other it seems according to my calculations), and has decided to move out of state with her, and has to have Saturday and Sunday off to get ready for the move. ARGHHHHH. I officially hate this shithead, why me? Why am I nice? Or perhaps stupid is a more appropriate term. Not only am I working these shifts for him, I'm working them at his pay rate which is, that's right folks, $4.00 less per hour than I make. STUPID STUPID STUPID!!! On a brighter note, I will get to see the boy I am head over heels infatuated with next week...we're going camping...HOORAY! The only thing that will get me through this week is the knowledge that 7 days from now I will be on my way to camp out for 6 glorious fucking days with the most amazing motherfucker I've ever met. Mmmhmmm, I'm smiling just daydreaming about it. My plan for work: I will walk out if need be if they keep dicking me around. No notice, no goodbye hugs, just a big fat finger aimed in their direction with a big FUCK YOU shout out to management as the doors close behind me. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is keeping me here in Austin. Now may be my only opportunity to pack up and start over new elsewhere. I'm thinking if I go far, Cambridge Massachusetts, if I stay close, well, I don't have a clue where I'd live because Austin is really the only worthwhile city in Texas, but I guess I'll figure it out when I come to that juncture. And now, now I will step into the 7th layer of hell, aka work.

p.s. i heard through the grape vines of SG that you're a vet tech. my kitty is sick with a wound and abcess(lump) and i dont know what to do
-he hasnt ever been tested for FIV/FELV
-the abcess is about the size of a ping pong ball, sometimes it seems smaller, maybe a golf ball.

-the biggest thing is that i'm soo broke right now i'm trying to wait until i know i have money coming in again (i'm looking for a job) and i'm not sure how long i can wait, without endangering him.
-he seems ok mostly, once in a while he'll run around wildly, and his back spasms around where the bit/abcess is.
-should i be taking him in ASAP?
-and is there anyway to take care of the abcess myself?
