And on the eighth day, after the Lord had rested, he looked down upon what he had wrought and saw that while it was indeed good, it was not right, for it lacked balance and equality. After much deliberation, it was with heavy heart the Lord again spoke. And his voice was as the soft susurration of suppurating flesh as he whispered, "Where light I have borne into this world, let there come forth the Shadow." And the Way was opened. And the Shadow did come forth.
And the Lord wept.
