2004 has been a very rough year.. I am glad to be done with it!! I let a friend move in with me to assist him with his rrecovery from substance abuse.. We ended up becoming lovers and then it all went down hill from there.. It turned out he has lots of personal issues to deal with.. ::sigh:: So in the end it turned out not pretty unfortunately, (I will leave out the confusing details), So now I am in debt, did not perform with Wicked Geisha, did not accomplish any of my goals from the last New Year & had one of the most humbling and emotional years since 1996 when my fiance'died in my arms.. ((That's the short of it))..
So I just got back from driving to Seattle & picking up my Wicked Geisha Sister Izunami, who will now be my new housemate! ::sigh of relief:: We drove in 2 days, stopping of at my parents for a night of rest in Portland.. then drove through the Mountain Passes with Ice, Snow, Rain & Interesting Conversation..one each of her black female cats, resting in our laps.. ((I have 2 boy cats, so now there are 4..))
On New Years Eve, the Wicked Geisha had a reunion at the SPAZ party.. a lovely party .. unfortunately I lost my digital camera.. :
I danced my brains out & celebrated the New Year coming with great enthusiasm, even though I was absolutely exhausted..
So here I am,lying in bed, with the rain pelting beautifully outside my windows, cats sleeping on either side of me with candles lit, relaxing at last..enjoying the calm of the New Year's 1st weekend before I throw myself back into work..

I went to Anon Salon for NYE because it was free, close by, and I was cramping too much to cross the puddle.
Sorry to hear of your recent trials with your lover. In my experience, boys+drugs=not nice outcomes, but it's hard to resist a quitter. *sigh*
