On Sunday night "Syrai Nahagua Kyoko Imena Kei Furia" and I went to Sushi to Dai For and had a lovely meal.. then off we went to the hot tubs.. Ah, in the sauna for 20 minutes, soo nice, with eucalyptus & lavendar oil mixed with water and spritzed over the hot coals.. ::sigh:: Our next destination was the cemetary to do a ritual.. It was so dark and peaceful in there.. we managed to find my favorite spot at the top of a hill, in front of this decadent mausoleum with benches.. overlooking this increadible vew of the Richmond Bridge and Berkeley Hills.. We brought beautiful flowers, saki, incense, black stones & red clear stones.. We offered flower petals to the inhabitants of the mausoleum first and then made a circle with the rest of the flowers and stones.. oh, and sea salt too.. ::grin:: Burned incense and did 2 rituals..
One was the Ritual of San San Kudo.. "The Tying Together of Destinies".. In Japan, traditionally only married couples do this or Geisha Sisters.. An "en" is a connection in Budhest meaning "karma".. If you have an "en" with someone, there is some special affinity between you. Tying of "en" (en musubi), creates a bond not easily loosened. In fact, if such a pair should seperate, the tie cannot simply be undone, but is said to be "cut" (en kiru).. The Ritual is performed partly by sharing three cups of Saki..
Afterwards, we climbed the front cemetary gate and walked at least a mile or two back to the other side of the hills and then proceeded to walk several blocks back to my house.. As we walked by a garden center, there were dozens of roses blooming on the bushes for sale.. I picked several of the fully bloomed roses, so lovely.. and found 3 asian umbrellas by the sidewalk and carried it all back with us..
What a superb evening.. Wishes for a lovely day dahrling.. x0x mYa

It does sound like an exceptional evening. Smell those roses a few extra times for me.
