oh oh oh - one was about my fave show and why. although this is of course influenced by current events, i'm going to have to go with one of the supersuckers shows from last year. it was the first time i ever heard them, last summer - and they just blew me away. i had never heard a single song - they were spec-fucking-tacular. and the opening band was just as good if not better
(throw rag, who are playing in town tonight!). also good because i went alone, and felt good about it. interesting corrolary to your current experience.
the other was something about losing hope... and i can't say that i ever have. i've had a really good life, honestly, and there's always something more coming, it seems.
and what scar am i proud of? (hell, i'm just proud of remembering the questions, lol) i'm proud of the scar from my surgery in december. it's essentially a c-section scar, few inches long across the bottom of my tum-tum. i'm proud of it because it was a really successful surgery and healing, in great part because i did everything they told me to. but mostly i'm proud because having that surgery gave me a lot of my life and my choices back... and that makes me a happy girl.

I was a * love child * took while for me to realize that meant illegitimate kiddo. It's a good thing though... my moms left while she was still in love and I didn't see them hate each other and stay together for me! Gee! and i lived in new orleans for a little while. halloween there isn't as great as you'd think. kind of dissappointing, i know. i had more fun in madison, wi one halloween than in new orleans. new years, however, is a fuckin' blast there!!
