ok...
so i went into work yesterday morning...apparently i was an hour late..i got my in-time mixed up i suppose...so when i went to look for the manager because i wasn't on the floor chart she ended up finding me first...she actually asked me if it was ok that she wrote me up (i shrugged my shoulders and told her she couldn't make an exception just 'cause it was me)..so we went into the office and i got written up...then she asked if i had time to go through my long awaited evaluation with her..i chuckled and told her i had the entire day off now..she shot me a mean look and then pretty much gave me a really good evaluation..i passed with flying colors (of course)...she gave me a couple of "opportunities" of improvement..which basically was so i wouldn't have had a perfect score...oh and since i've been there for a year i got a dollar raise...not that special seeing as it's still server wages...but i think it's funny that all in a matter of 5 minutes i got my hand slapped for being late, i got a really good eval, and i got a raise...
then i went to best buy and bought myself a video game since i had a whole day with nothing to do...it's the newest oddworld...in it you're a bounty hunter called "stranger"..you have this crossbow that shoots live ammunition..by that i mean little insects and rodents and such...you can shoot little skunks into a group of bad guys and they'll start puking and then you go capture them...or you can shoot a spider at them and they'll get wrapped up...or you can shoot an explosive bat and they'll die...but if you capture them dead you don't get as good of a bounty...it's really fun...
