ok..
so my dad called today to check up on me...and at one point he interrupted me to scold me..."you must have been up there too long..you're starting to sound like a yankee...you're talking too fast"...what?!....i mean i know i never really had a HUGE southern drawl coming from alabama and all (my mom is from new york..i think i was pretty evened out) but i honestly don't think i sound like a "yankee"...and nothing against them...but maybe he was just basing that on the speed of my rhetoric...which, sure, i do tend to talk fast when i get excited...my words don't drip like molasses, that's for certain...at any rate..i thought it a humorous, albeit ridiculous, notion...
