Queens of the Stone Age came into Bender's last Wednesday, as we were closing. We hung out and drank until 5:30 or so. Those guys were awesome, and all of them are real music fans. It's cool to hear them talk about other bands like the rest of us. They gave Kevin and I tickets +1 for the show on Thursday night, and then came back to Bender's again after the show. In predictable Will style, I drank waaaay too much Jim Beam Rye and don't remember the tail end of Thursday night. We almost stole a car, my thumb was bruised purple and swollen (still hurts like a motherfucker now. Do you know how much you need your thumbs?) and my hangover lasted for about 3 days.
so, hey. Christmas is over. I have to work on New Years Eve. Door at Zeitgeist. boring. What is your New Years Resolution? Mine is to not drink until my 30th birthday. 10 months and 2 days. Might be hard, working at two hard-drinking bars. Might be time to get a real job again, though. I kind of like waking up at 2 in the afternoon everyday. Real jobs don't let you do that.
