April has been kinda rough. Way too much worry and sleep deprivation. The battles of the mind were strong and kept me out of focus on everything I was trying to accomplish in my last blog. The job I spoke of about in my last job rejected me, really thought I had it (should have known better). BUT! I have some good news which it took some time to think about and sink in. My uncle brought to my attention where he works which is on the Water Front here in Philly, needed workers. As much as I don't like asking for help (i'll take the ass kicking) and didn't really want to go through family, i've decided to go through with it. He is quite a "big to-do" down the water front and is a guaranteed job. There is more hours, more pay and I won't killing myself as I have been with United Parcel Service. I'm trying to be positive about this and I hope I can say farefuckingwell to UPS for good! If you haven't noticed, I have gone beardless! It was required for the job and I somehow have to hide my hair. The beard will return... sometime.
@baalseraph forgive me, my friend! I didn't forget about your Cat Woman! As I mentioned the battles were strong and I am disappointed in myself and this drawing! I know I can do 100% better. I see every flaw in my replica. The spurts of focus may have been rushed due to the restlessness. Originally I chose a different photo from the internet, which may have had a bit more detail to start off with so I chose this one and I thought I could possibly block print this easily due to the black and white nature.
Argh! I don't even like looking at it! haha. I will attempt again and keep going with the other photo!
