finally recapping the past few weeks
how is everyone doing?
so Halloween is gone, boooo! though as The Misfits say "Everyday is Halloween". i had only 1 party to go to the week before Halloween. since i'm broke, i decided to revamp a costume from 10 years ago. Gene Simmons from Kiss. despite the idiot things that come out of that guys mouth, he still is a part of rock 'n' roll history. i spent 2 days just making new leg armor. and you'll see in the picture, the amount of tinfoil to create spikes. as i was making this, i just kept saying to myself "i'm tinfoil man!" hahaha
i know it's kind of hard to see but my mom found those platforms in a thrift store 10 years ago. and ladies, i dont know how you walk in anything heel like. hahaha. they hurt so bad! i lasted a few hours in them.
as Halloween approached, i had 2 concerts to goto back to back. October 29 and 30th.
Samhain was first and i was quite excited to see Danzig just perform Samhain. even before being padded down by security to enter the venue, it was made clearly that no photos of any kind were to be taken. i guess Danzig issued a request, the first i encountered cause i have photos from past concerts. oh well, right? i managed to get all the way up front, basically right behind the rail. immediately off the bat into the first 2 songs there was guitar technical difficulties. i was waiting for Danzig to flip or stop the show briefly but he continued. of course they played classics "All Murder All Guts All Fun" "Archangel" "To Walk The Night" "Black Dream" "Mother of Mercy" no Misfits. though he asked the crowd "Let The Day Begin or Halloween 2", Let The Day Begin won. i managed just to get a picture of the backdrop.
Pentagram the night of Halloween Eve or Mischief Night. i really psyched about this. it was at a smaller venue so more of a chance to meet and talk to musicians. and as i said in a previous blog, i hoped i would get to meet the singer, Bobby Liebling. well i didnt. but. as soon as i got inside the guys in Bang were just out and about talking with everyone and then i look, there is Bobby! right in front of me. he was in a conversation with a few people so i didnt want to interrupt or be rude. so i waited just to even say hello and maybe grab a photo but the next thing i know he disappeared..! ughhh!! he was right there!! im a music fanatic nerd so i was bummed. but i got some photos!
Halloween was boring unfortunately but i still dressed up because i love Halloween. i just threw on this skeleton costume i have. i dont have any pics of this though. just sat around locally and had some beers.

other than that nothing much else has been going on. despite events, i've been really down in the dumps. the daily stress of life and job hunting. i really had to make a decision of trying to get my old job back. i left on good terms i just was fed up with the place and it was eating me alive. i know youre not suppose to go backwards in life but i really had no choice and i need income. tomorrow i "restart" at my old job. tonight will be a sleepless night i can already tell. plus i have to be there 3:30am. i am still looking for something better but this will have to do for now.. ;(
