man, it's been awhile, like a month! this past month wasnt so kind, up and downs. rather not blog when things are shitty, everyones got their own toilet, right? (lol)

i feel a little better today. been having a rough time sleeping due to stress more than usual. the job search is never ending!! i have a side job where i am making cash but its not on the books, i guess its more of a "favor" but hey its getting me by.

this past weekend i layed low. taking a bit of control for a change. i only went out friday because i had the promoting job(which is the only "official" close thing to a title of a job i have, non-profit though! thats the thing about the music business, its very hard to make money whether in a band or promoting/booking but i enjoy it!) Saturday i found my Suspiria dvd! i have been looking for it for a long time, really thought i lost it. so that made my decision of what i was doing that night. woulda been better with some company to enjoy the screams with ;). Sunday i acquired a few things. my grandmoms house finally got sold but in those years it was vacant, well not really vacant, my oldest sister, who had her own share of shitty situations was keeping the utilities going because she had nowhere else to go. she was cleaning it out, getting the rest of the remaining old furniture and her and my nephews things out. my uncle had a whole laundry basket full of vinyl and he said i could have it and being a fan of vinyl, of course i did! some of them were my moms also. The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Janis Joplin, Sinatra, random 70s records and christmas records. i love old things! i could be a hoarder when it comes to vintage. also i took her 20 gallon fish tank, i only took it for the future because i would love to get some turtles again! even though i have nowhere to put it, haha. lastly, i gave my nephew my weight bench because i was going to the gym(which i still have to cancel my membership cause i cant afford it). supposedly he wasnt using it and with them moving she didnt want the clutter so i happily took them back! now hopefully i can get to my target health(i am at my best weight since childhood but i wanna get more toned and get rid of the lingering). so that was my weekend. im seriously going to devote more time for myself so i can actually accomplish the things i need to accomplish that make me happy (my drawing, singing, learning the bass, horror movies, of course a job). love my friends, love to party but doing the samethings every weekend gets old. im probably one of the few that likes to go out, drinking or not, but some choose to be confined. thats not me. and it will get you nowhere.(end rant) haha so that was my weekend. i must go back to searching for work. ugh

and as usual, i like to end with some kind of music. i dont have any photos this time around. so BLOODY HAMMERS, dark occult rock, been jamming these dudes since they came out about 3 years ago. every album cultivating a more ghostly presence. none the less, the new album that has recently been released, Under Satan's Sun, and i finally got around to it has all the elements of a haunting experience. check them out!

i can never get the embedding a youtube video to work!! i click embed and it just doesnt do anything, arghh.. sorry!

and also, Motorjesus kicks ass! I listen to all genres, mainly metal but I give anything a chance. They have a good rock sound, catchy. I like it! and I always appreciate new music!

Yep, exactly, Nintendo and Sega, but also the good old Atari, PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 and actually everything from the eighties and nineties. I'm pretty much addicted to the 16bit era, but I love every kind of video game. The first Magnavox Odyssey model was released in the early seventies, so it's a pretty old machine. The one I bought however was released in 1978 and I bought it mainly to complete my collection (one day...) and because it's exactly as old as I am. ;) Halo was the reason why I bought the original Xbox ten years ago! Man, that game was so good and so is it's remake for Xbox 360 by 343 Industries. They really did a good job in reviving Halo! I'm glad to hear that you like Motorjesus! :)
